Draculator II: Byte of the Draculator

Robot vampires are all the rage.

Just in time for Halloween, the super-secret, (not really) point-n-click game I’ve been working on as part of “SWARMAGS”, (that is: the AGS swarm development team), has finally been released. A lot of people put a lot of effort into producing a corny adventure game about a vampire cyborg.

For my part, I provided a lot of the dialogue, helped out with the main character design and also voiced the Mad Scientist. Though each member of the swarm was only supposed to expend an hour on the project, it became such a labour of love that many of us spent a good deal more than that on it. Still, it was a good experiment and a striking example of what can be achieved if enough people put their heads together.

Emprex 3009URF Remote

Wireless keyboards and mice are nice but for the living room a remote is more useful. It’s less clumsy and is designed to work in the palm of your hand. I have a media centre keyboard that just doesn’t do the job – it has a built-in trackball that works only rarely and drains batteries like an alcoholic. A remote, in this situation, is the best bet.

Ed

There was a bit of a trend in the ’90s for animal or sports based comedies normally starring TV stars. Many of these were crap and very few were critical successes.

Ed is one of the former.
